  Navigating a standards-based curriculum while addressing individual student needs is a significant challenge, particularly at the elementary level. However, effective educators can employ several strategies to achieve this balance. According to Hughes and Roblyer (2023), the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework is one such strategy.
